EDUCATION
Guglielmo Lanzani holds a physics degree (1987) from the Università di Milano and a PhD in chemical-physics (1992) from Università di Genova for work on non linear optics of organic semiconductors. He has been a postdoc at CNR (Bologna) (1992-1994), working on ultrafast spectroscopy in organic semiconductors. From 1994 to 1999 he was assistant professor at Università di Sassari. Since 1999 he has been working at Politecnico di Milano, as associate professor, and since 2011 as full professor in experimental physics. Since 2009 he is director fo the Center for nano Science and Technology of the Italian Institute of Technology. Current research interests focus on the photophysics of nanostructured materials for energy and bio-photonics.
