The School
is dedicated to PhDs, Post Docs and Researchers. A special session will give to students the opportunity to present their own work to share ideas and solutions.
ISOPHOS is focused on recent advances in science and technology of organic and hybrid photovoltaic devices, including polymers, perovskites, dye solar cells and the use of Graphene and other 2D materials for energy applications.

In September 2011 professor Guglielmo Lanzani, director of the Center for Nano Science and Technology at the Italian Institute of Technology (IIT), meets Angelo Bartesaghi, the late president of OMET srl. The idea is to start exploring the possibilities of converting printing machineries into manufacturing tools for smart objects such as photovoltaic panels. This lead to the establishment of a joint OMET-IIT laboratory in Milan, focused on the R&D and technology transfer from lab scale to industrial-machinery scale. In March 2016 the R&D was successfully completed and Ribes Tech srl was founded, co-owned by OMET srl and former researchers from the IIT. Co-development of photovoltaic-powered products in the field of sensor network and Internet of Things has started and is presently being developed. Ribes Tech soon established several collaborations with top italian industries with the goal to demonstrate printed PV films integration into wireless electronic devices. This lead to co-development of several pre-industrial prototypes and the first product that will start commercialization during this year by ST Microelectronics.
